Mission Viejo Kia Takes Over Orange County Soccer Club Halftime Show

Throughout the month of July, Mission Viejo Kia raised funds benefitting Orange County Rescue Mission. Mr. John Patterson, the owner of Patterson Autos, made a generous donation last week. He presented a check during the halftime show of Orange County Soccer Club. The donation came after a month-long fundraising event known as Christmas in July.

Christmas in July is an annual community fundraiser for Orange County Rescue Mission. In the summer, donations to this non-profit in Orange County decrease. To help, Patterson Autos and its four car dealerships dedicate a whole month to fundraising to replenish the OCRM shelves.

Every year, Mission Viejo Kia sees tremendous success as thousands of pounds of items are donated and thousands of dollars are raised. This year, Mission Viejo Kia and other Patterson Auto dealerships raised $27,000 for OCRM, thanks to our generous community. Many Orange County families rely on Orange County Rescue Mission for long-term transitional housing in the area. OCRM will provide 400 boxes of food and hygiene items every month. We do this to assist and demonstrate care for those in need in Orange County. They help by giving guidance, counseling, education, job training, shelter, food, clothing, health care, and independent living communities. Mission Viejo Kia is elated to continue raising funds and awareness for this local non-profit organization.
